The Hidden LIfe (Colossians 3:1-4)

Do I live from the truth “I died and my life is hidden with Christ,” or still try to earn God’s favor? When anxious or afraid, do I seek Christ’s peace first or rely on my own solutions? In conflicts, how often does Christ’s peace guide my heart? What habits (prayer, worship, giving, serving) strengthen my security in Christ? Which sinful patterns must I consciously leave behind? How would my daily choices change if I fully trusted my spiritual security in all circumstances?
The sermon on Colossians 3:1–4, especially verse 3, emphasizes that a believer’s new life is already hidden, secure, and present in Christ—not just a future hope. This new identity leads to changed behavior and courage, producing God’s lasting peace amid life’s storms.
